UC Law SF Communications and Entertainment Journal
Publishing in San Francisco since 1976.
UC Law SF Communications and Entertainment Journal (Comm/Ent) is a premier law journal dedicated to the scholarly publication of literature discussing the communications and entertainment industries.
-
Who We Are.
Comm/Ent is run entirely by second and third-year law students at the UC Law SF College of the Law. Comm/Ent fosters a community for students with similar interests or career goals to interact and build relationships with each other.
-
What We Do.
Comm/Ent is publishes twice a year, with issues in the Winter and Spring. Each issue contains approximately four articles by professors, legal practitioners, and students on a wide-range of topics relating to communications and entertainment law. In addition to our publications, Comm/Ent hosts annual symposia, inviting distinguished practitioners and scholars as panelists to discuss exciting issues in topical areas of the law.
-
Our Goal.
As one of the few scholarly publications dedicated to communications and entertainment law, Comm/Ent’s goal is to circulate academic writings on legal developments in these industries. We aim to provide Comm/Ent-sponsored events for students to interact with industry professionals and build upon our reputation in the communications and entertainment industries.
